Montana is one of the least populated states in the US. It has rugged scenery, historical sites and interesting places to explore. Its history revolved around gold prospecting and fur trading. Helena is the state capital, the home of the government and the county seat of Lewis and Clark county and located in the south of the state. That makes it an ideal starting point for touring.

A trip to southwestern Montana offers much of interest. It is a mountainous area with plenty of outdoor activities on offer such as hiking and fishing. Wildflowers are in abundance too and you may come across violet camas Penstemon lemhiensis, fireweed, and lupine amongst many others.

Towns to visit include Darby with its access to numerous hiking and horse trails nearby, along with a historic main street hosting stores, galleries and restaurants. Make sure to visit the Naughty Moose a lodge popular with hunters and fishermen.

Maritime History in Vancouver

Dedicated to preserving and sharing the maritime history of British Columbia, the Vancouver Maritime Museum was established in 1959. The museum offers a fun and educational experience for visitors from children to grandparents, and everyone in between. The museum sits on the Vancouver waterfront in Vanier Park . It is a terrific place to discover the rich maritime traditions and history of the Pacific Coast.

The main exhibit at the museum is an intact arctic exploration vessel, the St. Roch, which was used by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1944. Tourists from Vancouver hotels can also explore the museum’s extensive galleries of model ships, maritime art, and visit the historic and classic vessels in Heritage Harbour. The models located within the museum including a gallery of paper and cardboard models and a bone mode of a French warship, the Vengeur de Peuple. The Children’s Maritime Discovery center offers hands-on displays, telescopes trained on the Vancouver port, and a full-size replica of the tugboat Seaspan Queen’s wheelhouse. Heritage Harbour is home to historic vessels such as the SS Master, the last remaining steam tugboat in British Columbia, and the Munin, which is a replica of a Viking long boat. Dolphins Win Miami Heat is Rising

The Miami Dolphins have always been an extremely loved and supported professional sports team in Southern Florida. The Dolphins have fans that span out beyond the immediate Miami-Dade County and regional spectrum, though the amount of support that exists locally is non negotiable.
