Friends Plan Vacation to Goa to Tour the Temples

Carlie, Jamie and Sara met while they were in college together at California State University Los Angeles. They were all liberal arts majors and happened to take an introduction to cultural studies class together, which is where they met. The quickly found a connection together and almost immediately became a trio of best friends. Before have way through that semester they were meeting before class to have lunch together on a regular basis and by the end of the semester they were each others’ greatest confidants and regular social activities partners.
This was over seven years ago and although Carlie and Jamie went to separate graduate schools and Sara went right to work in a library, they remained extremely close. This was made easier when Jamie moved back to Los Angeles to begin her career in an art gallery. Carlie had finally settled in San Diego, which was not a bad road trip for Jamie and Sara when they had the chance. However, the last time the three of them were together at Carlie’s enjoying a glass of wine on the beach, they decided that the time had finally come for them to visit Goa, India together.
Jamie had originally brought up the idea when they were talking about a collection of art she had heard about from Goa. This was interesting to Carlie because she had been a religious studies major and was particularly interested in Hinduism. And coincidentally, Sara had just finished reading a book about the architecture and temples of Western India. They decided then that someday they would take a vacation together and stay in one of the five star hotels Goa and spend their days at the beach. Well, now that the time has arrived they still intended to spend a nice portion of their time on the beach, though they also wanted to visit some of the historic temples for which Goa was famous. The definitely wanted to visit the Shanta Durga Temple of Kavlem as well as the Mangueshi Temple located in Priol.
